New Morning Routine
For the past ten years, I used the time between 6 and 8am to journal and work on anything that's important to me and needs focus. Adding the gym to the mix was good for my health, but it was another thing to squeeze into my schedule. So I decided to sacrifice my Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings for the gym and make journaling my new bedtime routine (Doogie Howser style). As for the other things I usually did in the mornings, I'm trying to squeeze it in here and there. It's definitely a compromise, but I'm going to give it a try.
Back to the Pascal
Since I finally finished the next Back to the Pascal video, I can now focus on coding again. It's going to be another round of assembly optimizations. I'm switching from Turbo Pascal's inline assembler to Turbo Assembler to use the 386 to its full potential.
AI Coding
Even though I'm not the biggest fan of this whole AI-coding hype, it's probably not gonna go away. That said, I think there are ways to use it more judiciously, ethically and in a resource-friendly way. So I'm going to explore what's possible on my machine using local models only.
